How is God using us to make a difference?

The world is messed up (everybody said amen!) But, God has a plan. Jesus Christ came and died to rescue us from sin and its penalty (eternal death). Now, those who trust in Jesus can be saved and included in the rescue mission. Iron City church is a group of people rescued by Jesus and on his mission.

Because those who love Jesus are changed.


The good news of the gospel is that Jesus, through his death and resurrection, has made it possible for us to be reconciled to God if we trust him and repent of our sin. Anyone who believes on Jesus will be saved and changed forever.

Genuine Community

Because those who love Jesus are united together.


Partnership for the sake of the gospel is essential for mission success. We want to build communities that sing a song of redemption in harmony, key of B.F.L.A.T.T. We want our church to exemplify belonging, faithfulness, love, accountability to biblical truth, transparency, and trust.

Development

Because those who love Jesus become like Him.


God is not finished with us yet. We should continually progress in godliness and usefulness to God's kingdom. We will promote growth, restoration, and development both inside and outside our church family. 

Deployment

Because those who love Jesus will make Him known.


Blacksburg was our starting point, not the end. The message of the gospel is for the whole world to hear and obey. We must multiply disciples and churches to spread the good news.
